What you'll be doing
The Divisional Nurse Manager works in partnership with the Divisional Clinical Director, Divisional Operations Manager and Business Manager with a shared aim of developing and delivering effective, efficient, high quality health services, in line with the organisational objectives.
The Divisional Nurse Manager has primary responsibility for operational management of nurse led services and others as allocated, and at all times demonstrates a commitment to Royal North Shore Hospital vision and values.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health related field (eg clinical, health administration, management) or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
- Significant experience in the leading, directing and managing a team at a senior level in an acute hospital setting, with a track record of delivering outcomes and an ability to act as a change agent. Understanding EEO, cultural diversity and WHS procedures in regards to nursing roles.

Senior level experience in clinical governance, continuous improvement, quality initiatives and customer service principles and ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment.
