About the role
Experienced Allied Health Assistant or looking to start in healthcare - this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and begin a career in NSW Health. Relevant Allied Health Assistant qualifications or experience are welcome, but not essential.

There is an opportunity within the Physiotherapy Department at Cowra Health Service to work as an allied Health Assistant. This is a full time temporary role until 7 May 2027.

You will be working as part of a small team of physiotherapists and a cardiac rehab nurse to deliver high quality physical care to inpatients and outpatients at Cowra Hospital.

The job is varied including assisting with administration, and you will need to feel confident using computers, email and Microsoft programs, and be able to learn new systems., You will assist delivering exercise programs under supervision, assisting with cast and brace application and contributing to team development.

There is no after hours or weekend work and there will always be supervision available to ensure you are working within a supportive environment to develop your skills. You will need to have a current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes.

This role could suit someone starting out in healthcare, looking for a career change or wanting experience before further study.
