Where you'll make an impact

• Maintain, repair and install electrical systems across Hamilton Island infrastructure
• Perform Test and Tag of electrical appliances
• Carry out maintenance and repairs to white goods, audio visual systems, motors and pumps
• Complete repairs to commercial kitchen and laundry equipment
• Perform power and lighting maintenance and repairs
• Maintain and assist with the installation of light and power systems across resorts and facilities
• Maintain and assist with the installation of commercial kitchen appliances
• Support the safe and reliable operation of the island's electrical network

What we're looking for

You're a versatile and reliable Electrician with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering quality work. You enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, take pride in your workmanship and understand the important role maintenance plays in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

To be successful, you'll need:

• QLD Electrical Work Licence - Electrical Fitter & Mechanic
• Minimum 2 years' full-time trade experience
• Full driver's licence
• White Card
• Working at Heights certification
• Current CPR/LVR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent personal presentation
• Ability to participate in an on-call roster and carry a pager when required
