About the role

Our Brisbane office is continuing to grow, and we are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer with strong project management capabilities and site investigation experience to join our team.

In this role, you will contribute to a diverse range of projects across key sectors including renewables, transport, and infrastructure, working alongside a collaborative and high-performing team.

We currently have a strong pipeline of work, offering the opportunity to be involved in major, high-profile projects across the Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast regions

The core purpose of this role is to undertake field work, design and reporting of geotechnical projects with the support of other CMW personnel. You will work with the technical team, and as a consultant, you will be developing relationships with clients, specialist contractors, other consultants and suppliers.

What You'll Need

  • A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a geotechnical consultancy
  • Project Management experience
  • Site Investigations experience
  • RPEQ, or on the pathway to obtaining.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Australia
  • A full Australian driver's license
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
