The role
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play an important role in our manufacturing process, building your knowledge, developing new skills and becoming a valued part of the team.
We are committed to supporting both new starters and returning seasonal team members to succeed, grow, and achieve their individual goals. With guidance from experienced team members, you'll be supported in a fun, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
- Location: Villawood, NSW. Leightonfield Station is only a short walk from our site, and onsite parking is also available.
- Employment type: Fixed-term full-time contract of up to 6 months
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm.
Please note: We may close this vacancy early if we receive an overwhelming response or our business requirements change.
You will be:
- Picking and packing orders for our Retail stores in Australia and New Zealand
- Wrapping and labelling pallets of store orders and stock items
- Assisting in regular inventory checks and stocktakes
- Checking incoming stock, replenishing pick locations and allocating stock to appropriate storage locations
- Assisting with various warehouse-related tasks as needed - we're a team, and we all pitch in!
- Good communication skills
- Time efficient (punctual)
- Self-motivated and able to use your own initiative
- Be focused with a proactive attitude
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Eager to learn new skills
- Be open to a diverse workplace and enjoy working with a team.
You will also be required to do the following:
- Wear Safety boots (we will reimburse up to $100 spent)
- Be physically capable of fulfilling the role, including standing for 38 hours per week, lifting, and performing manual tasks
