About the Role: The Charter division at CDC is looking for a dynamic, passionate and self-motivated Charter Global Allocator to join their team at the St Marys depot. This is an ongoing full-time opportunity reporting to the Charter Operations Manager the Charter Global Resource Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective allocations of charter bus services out of all CDC Charter and Contract Depots.. This involves managing working closely with reservations, managing driver fatigue across CDC Charter Depots, working with and invoicing contractors to assist with extra coverage of our work and their work. Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain charter allocations and ensure drivers are allocated prior to the commencement of charter for management of fatigue and payroll. Ensure that charters are allocated in such a way that maximises not only the drivers use but also the bus use. Look at charter allocation as a global picture and move charters around to ensure we are efficiently operating. Ensure that when we are invoiced for a charter from a sub-contractor that the $ amount is correct and that they did the job on time and to our standard. Work with reservations to manage number of charters and charter placement into correct depots. Work with the charter and route depots to ensure all work is covered. Communicate with the Charter Operations Manager about issues of the day and collaborate with counterparts at other sites to drive best practice across sites. Ensure that overtime is the best return of paid resource time and assets for CDC. Coming to work in a fit state, free from fatigue, drugs and alcohol Ensure rosters are built for all charter contracts and any changes are made through the scheduling team. Work with reservations team and drivers to ensure charter sheets are accurate and correct. Assist with rostering of special events and rail when required inclusive of shift pack creation. Driving as required Other duties as required. About You: Previous experience in leading employees and managing and optimising resources Capable of being able to understand how the delivery of services impacts on contractual KPIs Capable of interpreting company policies and procedures and reports Ability to manage conflicting priorities whilst delivering on agreed timelines Well-developed written and oral communication skills Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency with PC applications, particularly in MS Word, Excel and Outlook Qualification and accreditations: Working with Children Check Knowledge of the bus industry or an equivalent industry would be preferred Although not essential, qualifications in the following would be highly regarded; Certificate of Transport Management (CTM) Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence Public Passenger Driver Authority Personal Attributes Accountability Attention to detail.
