About the Role As Team Lead, you will provide day-to-day leadership across a residential crisis service supporting women and children escaping family and domestic violence. You will guide staff practice, support safe and effective responses, and help maintain a strong focus on client outcomes. Lead, supervise and support a team of Support Workers and Coordinators Drive high-quality, trauma-informed, FDV-informed and client-centred service delivery Oversee risk assessment, safety planning and client outcomes Coach and develop staff to build confidence, capability and consistency Respond to complex client needs, including AOD and mental health presentations Contribute to continuous improvement, reporting and stakeholder engagement This role is being offered on a 12-month max term contract working full time hours, Monday to Friday. What we're looking for Experience supporting women and children escaping FDV in a crisis or residential setting Strong leadership skills, including staff supervision, coaching and support Sound understanding of trauma-informed, FDV-informed and client-centred practice Confidence with risk assessment, safety planning and complex presentations Understanding of AOD and mental health impacts within FDV service delivery Ability to stay calm, responsive and organised in a high-pressure environment What do we offer? Salary aligned with Level 5 of the Ruah Enterprise Agreement (and the SCHADS Award), commencing from $101,099 + super 5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% annual leave loading (for award-based staff) 16 weeks paid parental leave, with flexibility to take at 32 weeks half-pay (uniquely, new staff can access 4 weeks paid parental leave after just 6 months' service).
