Job Description

We are seeking an experienced writer and editor to support the execution of highquality marketing collateral across the firm, designed to explain KordaMentha services and support business development.

Reporting to the Proposals & Pursuits Lead - Marketing, this role is responsible for creating and refining clientfacing collateral, including brochures, flyers and other marketing materials. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to produce clear, targeted content that supports key growth areas and positions the firm effectively in market. The primary focus is on highquality print and digital collateral, with occasional support on defined proposal drafting tasks. The role also includes some administrative responsibilities.

This is an executionfocused position, supporting the Marketing & Design team during periods of high demand.

What you will do:

  • Mange the end-to-end process for writing and editing marketing and business development collateral, and actioning stakeholder reviews and feedback. Collateral will include brochures, flyers, capability statements and credentials.
  • Translate complex, technical or specialist subject matter into clear, engaging and clientready copy.
  • Apply established brand, tone of voice and messaging guidelines across all written outputs.
  • Work across a wide range of subject matter areas, demonstrating agility and confidence adapting to new content.
  • Manage multiple pieces of work concurrently, balancing competing priorities and deadlines, working collaboratively with senior stakeholders
  • Meet tight turnaround times, including fixed print and production deadlines, ensuring that relevant reviews have been carried out ahead of being sent to print.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and design stakeholders to ensure copy integrates seamlessly into designed materials.
  • Where required, assist with proposal drafting by preparing or refining defined sections based on provided briefs and source material.

Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, journalism, professional writing, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Experience of working in a professional services environment.
  • Experience working with print-based materials (for example, editorial writing experience).
  • 3-5 years'+ experience in copywriting or editorial roles.
  • Demonstrated experience producing clientfacing marketing and business development collateral.
  • Strong ability to quickly understand, synthesise and clearly articulate complex ideas.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage competing tasks and meet tight deadlines.
