As part of a new, fastgrowing global cell therapy team, we are building the frameworks, networks and capabilities needed to accelerate delivery of novel, complex therapies to patients. Reporting to the local Senior Director for Cell Therapy Clinical Trials, you will partner with regional and global feasibility leaders as Australia's expert on site landscape, investigator networks and operational readiness, proactively mapping new therapeutic areas and centres, delivering actionable insights, and helping shape cell therapy ways of working. This is full time, permanent role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne, working remotely with regular travel to sites across Australia and head office in Sydney. What you'll do Lead endtoend country feasibility for internally delivered studies, providing a single point of contact for Australian feasibility inputs and timelines. Analyse country landscape, standard of care and competitive activity to inform optimal study design, site selection and realistic recruitment baselines. Build and maintain investigator and site networks across Australia, conducting onsite visits to assess capability for complex, earlyphase and firstinhuman studies. Develop and socialise countryspecific and sitespecific recruitment and retention strategies, aligned to patient needs, regulatory requirements and study objectives. Partner with Cell Therapy Field Clinical Advisers, Patient Operations and Clinical Research Associates to translate feasibility insights into delivery plans and risk mitigations. Champion best practice use of planning and analytics platforms and providing highquality, timely feasibility responses and knowledge transfer to study teams. Essential Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, healthcare) Substantial experience (approximately 5+ years) in clinical development within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector, including countrylevel feasibility and patient recruitment planning. Experience in oncology and/or complex modalities (e.g., cell therapy, gene therapy) and earlyphase or firstinhuman studies. Proven track record leading complex study feasibility or site startup activities, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Sound knowledge of ICH/GCP and relevant Australian regulations. Demonstrated ability to travel within Australia to visit sites and collaborators as required (approximately 30-40% travel). Proficiency with feasibility, forecasting and study planning digital platforms (eg. Veeva Clinical Vault). Desirable for the role: Experience working with Clinical Research Organisations, academic groups and Key Opinion Leaders to shape site and investigator engagement. Exposure to immunology or autoimmune therapeutic areas (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis) and feasibility in nononcology settings. Experience operating in regional or global matrix teams, influencing across functions and adapting to ambiguity in a scaling organisation. Why AstraZeneca?
