At CliniKids, part of The Kids ResearchInstitute Australia, you'll have the time, support and professional developmentopportunities to do your best work. Working with children aged 6 months to 9years with autism and developmental differences, you'll be part of a highlycollaborative multidisciplinary team in purpose-built, neurodiverse-friendlyclinics.
With manageable clinical workloads averagingaround four clients per day, you'll have dedicated time for therapy planning,documentation, and family-centred care. You'll be supported through monthlyindividual and peer supervision, ongoing professional developmentopportunities, and training in evidence-based assessment and interventionapproaches, helping you continue to grow your clinical skills and confidence.

Some ofyour responsibilities will include:
- Support children with autism and their families through evidence-based speech pathology interventions that foster communication, participation and independence.
- Provide manualised interventions (e.g. PACT, SCERTS) as selected by CliniKids.
- Contribute to clinical resources and participate in community engagement.
- Comply with Medicare, NDIS, and other funder requirements.
- Support research initiatives and participate in forums and team learning.
- Work in a way that safeguards our clients and protects their rights at all times.
Locatedacross both our Subiaco and Joondalup offices, this position will be offered ona full-time, ongoing basis. Part-time will be considered for the rightapplicant.
About You
This position would suit someone whopossesses highly developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills, hasan enquiring dynamic approach to therapy and is inspired by new challenges.
The key to your success will be your ability todemonstrate the following:
- Strong clinical skills in the assessment and therapy/intervention with pre-school and school-aged children with autism or developmental delay.
- A sound understanding of a range of evidenced-based autism and speech therapy interventions.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills appropriate to establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients, families and the wider community.
- Outstanding written communication skills with strong attention to detail and ability to translate technical concepts or research findings into appropriate language.
- Excellent organisational skills, with flexibility and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
Specific Requirements:
- Eligible for a Medicare provider number.
- Eligible provider for NDIS services.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, including early intervention to pre-school and school aged children with autism or developmental delay.
- Familiarity with National Guidelines for supporting autistic children in Australia.
- Can commit to a minimum of 0.6 FTE
- Able to work across both offices
