UGL is currently looking for a suitably qualified HSE Advisor for a major Outage project on a Power Station in Collie, WA. As a key member of the team, this role will be responsible for providing support to the HSE Lead for all safety, health and environment activities on the project.

Key responsibility areas

Provide advice and support to the HSE Lead in the implementation and auditing of Safety, Health and Environment Management Plans

Ensuring compliance with the Safety and Environment Management plan, Traffic Management plan and Fatigue Management plan

Advise on all safety, health and environmental issues

Analyse safety statistics, and report on trends and recommend actions to improve safety

Review all project activities, work practices and procedures for continuous improvement in safety, health and environment

Provide support and advice to Supervisors in order to achieve health and safety objectives

About You

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role

Formal qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety

Qualifications in Training and Assessment would be beneficial

Knowledge of OH&S legislation, Codes of Practice and Australian and State Standards as they apply to the construction and maintenance industry

Experience in maintenance or shutdown projects

Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft products in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
