About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Acoustic Consultant to join our busy and friendly Acoustic team in Sydney. We are currently working on a wide range of buildings projects including data centres, health, commercial, defence, industrial and educational building projects.

You'll play an important role in actively managing projects and client relationships.
The role will enable the successful applicant to develop in a professional and personal sense and to forge a challenging and rewarding career path, in a successful global consulting organisation.

Day to day tasks would involve:
Successfully deliver projects in the field of building and architectural acoustics.
Build and develop your professional profile externally
Be the go-to technical expertise within Acoustics
Skilfully and appropriately delegate tasks to resources and manage the process to ensure successful outcomes.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and proactively engage with your discipline in other offices.
Contribute to the development of younger Acoustic Consultants.
Work independently on a wide range of projects with an ability to manage workload on several projects at different stages of completion.
Adhere to Stantec professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures

To be successful in this role you'll need:
Ideally have 7 years experience ideally gained in the buildings sector.
Hold a professional qualification in engineering
Excellent Acoustic technical experience
Provine ability to successfully deliver projects.
Local knowledge and experience in the Sydney market would be an advantage
Knowledge of acoustic modelling software (Insul, Ease, SoundPLAN or CadnaA are a plus)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
