Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical practitioners for the above position in the Western Sydney Local Health District. The position will be located at Westmead Hospital within the Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine.
The appointee will be primarily rostered to work at Westmead Hospital MFM Unit with an expectation to participate in the MFM Service outreach at Blacktown Hospital in accordance with the roster.
The successful applicant will be an O&G consultant with demonstrated experience in Maternal and Fetal Medicine
The appointee is eligible for credentialing and privileging across all other facilities in the Western Sydney Local Health District.
Essential Requirements
Sound clinical knowledge in subspecialty experience in both Maternal and Fetal Diseases complicating pregnancy demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position.
Must have RANZCOG subspecialty certification in Maternal & Fetal Medicine
Selection Criteria
Possess or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology or equivalent as provided for in the Staff Specialists (State) Award. Must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency. Must hold a current NSW Environment Protection Authority license (if applicable).
Evidence of additional qualifications, skills and/or experience required for specific scope of practice for the specialty.
Demonstrated skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner including:
