An exciting opportunity is available for skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Nepean Hospital. We are seeking dedicated Nurses who are passionate about providing specialised care to critically ill and premature newborns within a supportive, family-centered environment.
As a Registered Nurse in NICU, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to Neonates requiring intensive and special care services. Working closely with Neonatologists, Paediatricians, Midwives, Allied Health Professionals and families, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and development of vulnerable infants. This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your Neonatal Nursing skills within a collaborative and progressive clinical environment.
You will bring to this role excellent communication and interpersonal skills paired with strong clinical assessment and critical thinking that make a real difference every day. You will also deliver meaningful, family-centred care while continuously growing your expertise through ongoing professional development.

What you will bring to the role
- Current registration as Registered Nurse (Division 1) with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in an Acute Care setting preferably within an Neonatal Intensive Care setting
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
- Demonstrated effective communication skills - written and verbal
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit/service requirements
