Apply Job no: QRAXT Office locations in Sydney and Melbourne CBD This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data platforms, leveraging Palantir Foundry, PySpark, and SQL to build robust, scalable, and business-critical data solutions that support analytics, reporting, governance, and strategic decision-making. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams, translating complex requirements into high-quality data products while contributing to the evolution of a modern enterprise data ecosystem. What You'll Be Doing Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Palantir Foundry, PySpark, and SQL. Build curated datasets, reusable transformation frameworks, and scalable data models. Develop and enhance Foundry workflows, ontology structures, and operational data assets. Optimise data processing solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Partner with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across complex data environments. Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, engineering standards, and best practices. Participate in Agile delivery teams, including sprint planning, estimation, and delivery activities. What We're Looking For Essential Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry in enterprise environments. Advanced Python and PySpark development skills. Strong SQL expertise, including Spark SQL. Experience designing and building large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation frameworks. Strong understanding of data modelling, data governance, and data quality principles. Experience working within complex enterprise environments. Proven ability to solve technical challenges and deliver reliable, production-grade solutions. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Highly Regarded Experience within banking, financial services, risk, or regulatory environments. Exposure to Foundry Ontology, Workshop, Contour, Quiver, or related Foundry components. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, or similar. Exposure to AI, machine learning, or GenAI initiatives.
