We're on the lookout for an experienced Frame & Truss Manager to take ownership of a high-performing department - driving sales, operational excellence, and team development while delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee a small team and the overall end-to-end Frame & Truss operation, from estimating and detailing through to production and project delivery.


What you'll be doing

  • Lead, coach and develop a cross-functional team across Estimating, Detailing and Production
  • Drive sales performance while identifying opportunities to improve margin, reduce costs and enhance efficiency
  • Oversee department budgets, cost controls and financial performance
  • Ensure accuracy across pricing, costing, forecasting and design databases
  • Manage all plant, equipment and assets to ensure safety, compliance and operational readiness
  • Support the Sales team to win new business, including engaging with builders, developers, architects and key stakeholders
  • Provide technical and commercial oversight on quotations and design solutions
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high quality standard
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners across all project stages
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across systems, processes and workflows


What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in Frame & Truss production or manufacturing industry a must
  • Strong leadership background with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Solid commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance outcomes
  • Experience with estimating/design software and interpreting architectural & engineering plans
  • Ability to implement process improvements and drive operational efficiency
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally
  • Hands-on, solutions-focused approach with strong decision-making capability
  • Current driver's licence with flexibility to travel when required
