Requirements
- Extensive underground mining experience
- Previous experience as a Shift Boss or in a supervisory role underground
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance
- Sound understanding of underground mining methods and processes
- Ability to interpret mine plans and schedules
- Relevant statutory certification (depending on jurisdiction) or ability to obtain
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to work a roster (7/7)

Role Overview
An experienced Underground Shift Boss is required to lead and supervise crews at OK Mine. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving safe, efficient operations while meeting production targets in an underground environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise underground mining crews and coordinate shift activities
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures and statutory requirements
- Drive production performance to meet daily and weekly targets
- Allocate tasks and manage workforce across multiple areas
- Conduct pre-start meetings and ensure effective communication across shifts
- Monitor ground conditions and maintain compliance with ground support standards
- Identify hazards, manage risks, and respond to incidents
- Complete shift reports, production records, and safety documentation
- Liaise with senior leaders, engineers, and planning teams
- Mentor and develop operators and leading hands
