About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mid-Level Pavement Engineer to join our Perth based team. This role offers an opportunity to work with a highly experienced pavement engineering team on major infrastructure, transport, industrial, and mining projects across Australia.
As part of a collaborative engineering team, you will contribute to pavement design, investigation, analysis, rehabilitation strategies, and construction support for a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pavement design, analysis, and rehabilitation solutions for infrastructure and mining projects
- Undertake pavement investigations, condition assessments, and rehabilitation recommendations
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders
- Support project delivery from concept through to construction
- Assist in mentoring junior engineers and graduates
- Undertake geotechnical and pavement investigations, including interpretation of field and laboratory test data.
- Collaborate with civil and drainage engineers to develop integrated pavement and drainage solutions.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 4-8 years' experience in pavement engineering
- Strong understanding of Austroads pavement design methodologies
- Experience with flexible and rigid pavement design
- Familiarity with pavement investigation and asset management practices
- Proficient report writing and communication skills
- Experience using CIRCLY and/or HiPave pavement design software and proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience in mining, industrial, local government, or transport infrastructure projects.
- Ability to interpret geotechnical investigation data, including CBR, DCP, laboratory classification, and pavement condition assessment information.
- Experience undertaking pavement investigations, site inspections, construction support, and field verification activities would be advantageous.
- Chartered status or working toward chartership highly regarded
