The Opportunity
The Strep A Vaccines Program is advancing research to acceleratethe development of a safe and effective vaccine against Strep A, a major causeof preventable illness and serious disease worldwide. Our team is driven by a shared commitment toreduce the impact of Strep A infections, helping to protect children improvinglives across communities globally.
As our program continues to grow, we now have an excitingopportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join the team. In this role youwill provide high-quality administrative and secretariat support, playing a vitalpart in keeping our program running smoothly and effectively.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage diaries, correspondence, meeting arrangements and communications.
- Assist with purchasing and procurement processes, including raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers.
- Support seminars, meetings and events, including room bookings, catering and video/teleconferencing.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation and conference registrations.
- Provide secretariat support to Strep A Vaccines Team governance bodies, committees and working groups.
Based in our modern offices within Perth Children'sHospital, this full-time position will be offered for an initial 1-year period.
About You
The successful candidate will be a collaborative andsupportive team-member, with an excellent ability to identify and respond toneeds. You will possess a tertiary qualification in a relevant field, or relevantexperience in administration/office support, alongside:
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative or secretarial role.
- Experience providing committee or governance support, including minutetaking.
- High level organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
