Senior Product Owner
We're looking for a Senior Product Owner to join the UNITE program, focused on delivering large-scale data and document migration outcomes across customer operations. This role sits at the intersection of business and delivery. You'll work across squads to define what needs to be delivered and why, making sure we move customer data, documents and records from legacy systems into new platforms without disruption, loss, or risk.
There are two focus areas:
Customer document migration - moving customer records, statements and operational data into new environments
Archival and decommissioning - managing records retention and safely shutting down legacy systems.
In both cases, the focus is the same: protect the customer, protect the data, and deliver the right outcome for the business.
This is a business-led Product Owner role, not a pure technology delivery role. You'll spend your time defining requirements, shaping outcomes, and driving clarity in complex migration environments where not everything is known upfront. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, operations and technology, and partner with Agile teams to make sure delivery is aligned to real customer and operational outcomes.
We're looking for someone who can operate confidently in a complex, fast-moving environment and has done this type of work before.
You'll bring:
- Experience delivering records or document management solutions - You understand how customer records, documents and data are structured, governed and managed, particularly in regulated environments.
- Strong data and migration experience - You've worked on programmes where data or documents have been moved between systems at scale, and you understand the risks, controls and complexity involved.
- A business-led Product Owner mindset - You focus on outcomes, not just delivery. You're comfortable defining requirements, managing backlogs and making trade-offs to deliver the right result.
- Ability to drive clarity in high-ambiguity environments - You can take unclear or evolving requirements and turn them into structured, actionable work for delivery teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills - You can work across business and technology stakeholders, align different viewpoints, and keep people focused on the outcome.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments - You're comfortable working with squads, participating in ceremonies, and managing backlog priorities to deliver value incrementally.
- A focus on customer and operational outcomes - You understand the impact of migration on customers and operations, and you prioritise continuity, accuracy and risk management in everything you do.
