Workshop and Facilities Superintendent
DP World is seeking an experienced and driven Workshop and Facilities Superintendent to lead our maintenance workshop and facilities and engineering project delivery at the West Swanson Terminal.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this is a senior leadership role responsible for a large maintenance workforce, terminal facilities and infrastructure assets, contractor management and capital project delivery. You will play a critical role in ensuring our equipment, facilities and engineering systems operate safely, reliably and efficiently in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.
About the Role
You will provide leadership to a team of Maintenance Supervisors and a large trade workforce, driving safety, performance and continuous improvement across the Engineering function.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading workshop operations and maintenance performance
Driving equipment reliability and asset improvement initiatives
Managing terminal facilities and infrastructure assets
Delivering engineering and capital projects from concept to completion
Managing contractor performance, procurement and service delivery
Leading workforce performance, employee relations and capability development

Contributing as a key member of the Engineering leadership team
About You
You are a confident and capable engineering leader with experience managing large maintenance teams in a complex operational environment.
You will bring:
A tertiary engineering qualification or advanced trade qualification
Significant experience leading maintenance operations in heavy industry, ports, logistics, manufacturing, mining or similar environments
Proven leadership experience managing supervisors and trade-based workforces
Strong knowledge of asset management, maintenance systems and reliability improvement
Experience managing contractors, facilities and capital projects
Well-developed commercial, financial and stakeholder management skills
