About the role
As a Store Manager with Australian Red Cross, you’ll lead the strategic and daytoday operations of a communityfocused retail store. Your work centres on driving sales performance, elevating the customer experience, and ensuring the store is a welcoming, well run environment. With support from the Area Manager, you’ll analyse sales trends, shape local business strategies, and champion Red Cross values through exceptional service and community engagement.
You’ll also play a pivotal role in building, coaching and inspiring a diverse team of staff and volunteers. From fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture to ensuring operational excellence across merchandising, stock flow, compliance and workforce development, you’ll create a space where people feel supported, customers feel valued, and the shop thrives as a positive presence in the local community.
What you will bring
- Proven ability to drive revenue and meet financial targets
- Experience coaching, mentoring and motivating staff and volunteers
- Ability to build cooperative, respectful and diverse team environments
- Confidence managing stock flow, merchandising, and store administration
- Commitment to delivering high quality service
- Ability to maintain appealing, on-brand store presentation
- Understanding of brands, styles, and customer preferences
- A proactive, solutions focused approach to challenges
- Understanding of WHS, policy adherence and loss prevention obligations

This role is covered by the General Retail Industry Award 2020, Level 6. Salary from $58,687.20 FTE + superannuation, and access to salary packaging.
