About the role
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for assessing the overall information technology needs of assigned projects/programs. With a focus on delivering value-driven solutions, the role will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and end-users, to ensure that business needs are accurately captured and addressed.
This role is key in facilitating communication between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring a clear understanding of business requirements and technical capabilities to improve business efficiency and productivity and guide the implementation of fit-for-purpose solutions.
What you will bring
- Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and processes and translate these into practical application and operational solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and understand business contexts through a variety of techniques and forums (workshops, individual meetings, shared documents etc.).
- Demonstrated experience in facilitation of business requirement gathering workshops involving participants from senior management to business users.
- Demonstrated ability to produce requirement artefacts: e.g. Business Requirements documentation, Functional Specifications, data flow diagrams.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully operate within a geographically dispersed team.
- Competent and proficient understanding of:
- The application of Project Management disciplines.
- Enterprise application platforms ERP, CRM, and/or HRIS.
- Demonstrated ability to assess, evaluate and solve problems and exercise initiative and judgment where practices and procedures are not clearly defined
