What you'll be doing
In this role, you will deliver comprehensive pharmacy services to ensure the safe, effective and economical use of medicines while contributing to high-quality patient care.
Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication review and patient counselling
Dispense and supervise medication distribution safely and accurately
Deliver drug information and education to patients and healthcare staff
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimise medication management
Support and supervise pharmacy assistants, students and junior staff

Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Full Pharmacy qualifications conferred by Tertiary Education Institutions e.g., Bachelor of Pharmacy
Registration: Full Pharmacist registration with AHPRA with no restrictions to the scope of practice
Selection Criteria:
1. Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Demonstrated excellent therapeutic and clinical knowledge and competence in its application to achieve safe and efficient quality of care.
3. Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and have good time management skills.
4. Well-developed written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills necessary to interact effectively with patients and other stakeholders.
5. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently without supervision when required.
6. Demonstrated skills and experience in managing a complex workload, problem solving and development and implementation of initiative.
7. Current continued professional development plan relevant to hospital pharmacy and a commitment to participate in on-going education.
8. Demonstrated ability to work cohesively as a team member and provide support to other team members
