About the Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated Environmental Health Officer to join us in this meaningful role responsible for:

  • Identifying, investigating, monitoring and managing a range of environmental health issues
  • Enforcement activities in line with public health legalisation
  • Designing, marketing and implementing public environmental health programs

About You
Our ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Applied Science (Environmental Health) or an equivalent field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in public health within Local, State or Federal government.
  • A genuine passion and strong interest in public health and community wellbeing.
  • Hold a current Class C driver's licence and demonstrate willingness to travel long distances across the Health Service as required.
