The Warehouse and Logistics Team within Support Services, Payment and Supply Services stream are responsible for the warehousing, receiving and distribution of supplies and inventory services to all areas of Brisbane. The Role You'll be part of a team that keeps essential services moving across Brisbane, supporting a wide range of logistics and warehousing operations across Council. There are two permanent full-time positions available with one based at Eagle Farm and the other at Toowong. Logistics Operations Officers coordinate stock and material movements, including receiving, picking/packing, dispatching and delivering a diverse range of goods across Council. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where strong prioritisation, teamwork and a customer-first mindset are key to success. You'll provide responsive, professional service to internal stakeholders while ensuring operations run efficiently and safely. To be successful you will have: demonstrated experience in warehousing and logistics operations, including inventory management and distribution services strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills ability to prioritise tasks and meet timeframes in a high-volume environment experience using systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office (or similar) a forklift licence C class drivers licence. Desirable: relevant licences (MR and/or truck-mounted crane), Council systems experience, or a qualification in warehousing or a related field.
