Due to increased workload and project demands, we are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our Workshop team. This permanent position is based in Jandakot, with opportunities for offshore work. The successful candidate will contribute to a range of tasks, including assembly and testing of electronic equipment, servicing of subsea assets, and ensuring a safe working environment through adherence to safety policies and procedures.

We contract, manage, engineer, and execute projects using our global vessel fleet, including Jones Act-compliant vessels, advanced technologies, and highly skilled personnel.

  • Experience in electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical disciplines.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to pass OGUK medical and possess current BOSIET, CA-EBS training.
  • Offshore experience in Oil and Gas, ROV, ROV Tooling, or Subsea assets.
  • BOSIET or FOET certification.
  • Forklift License.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of safety standards (e.g., Step Back 5x5, JSEA, HSEQ systems).
  • A keen learner with a good approach to learning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ensure safety policies and procedures are understood and followed to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Promote a strong HSE culture at all times.
  • Assemble and test electronic equipment, subsea tooling, and engineered tooling.
  • Read and comprehend hydraulic and electrical schematics, as well as engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Operate general hand, hydraulic, and air tools.
  • Conduct fault-finding work on mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic tooling.
  • Complete testing and servicing paperwork to a high standard.
  • Enter data into project management and asset management software.
  • Perform quality checks on tools to ensure proper assembly, design, and functionality.
  • Travel to offshore locations and customer sites as required.
