About the role and where you will be working: We are seeking Multiskilled Carer to join our Residential Care teams at our facility in Wagin, WA. As a Multiskilled Carer, you will support residents with their daily living, social, and emotional needs, delivering person-centred care that promotes dignity, respect, and independence. You will play an important role in enhancing residents' well-being and quality of life, ensuring they feel welcome, valued, and supported. Juniper Waratah Lodge prides itself on the close relationships built between our compassionate and respectful team of staff, residents, their families, and the local community. The home is a small site which plays a vital role in the Great Southern region providing support to 18 residents ensuring that families remain close to their loved ones and stay connected within the community. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care including assistance with hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility Support residents' independence and participation in meaningful daily activities, promoting dignity and choice Assist with the safe administration of medication in accordance with Juniper policies and procedures Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with nursing, allied health, and management personnel Contribute to infection prevention and workplace health and safety practices Assist with mealtime support to ensure nutritional needs are met Foster a kind, respectful, and supportive environment that upholds Juniper's values and the rights of residents Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to work across different sites and shifts, supporting continuity of care Key Requirements Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care Experience working in an aged care setting as a carer Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate effectively with health professionals, service providers, and case managers Ability to interpret individual care plans and provide tailored care to meet individual goals Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills Understanding of cognitive strategies, social interaction, and meeting the mental and emotional health needs of residents Ability to meet all compliance requirements including a National Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening, and adherence to the Aged Care Code of Conduct Why Join Us Hourly rate from $35.15 to $36.51 depending on qualifications, plus superannuation Salary packaging options up to $18,550 per annum.
