DCM - Investment Banking Analyst / Associate

As a successful Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Analyst/Associate, your key responsibilities would include:
customary analyst/Associate responsibilities to support the team with data gathering, analysis and pitch preparation, as well as taking responsibility for managing internal transaction approval processes;
building and maintaining client relationships as part of the team. This role has significant client contact and you may be required to act as the key point of contact for some clients generally or specifically with respect to particular elements of a transaction;
work both independently, and with senior team members, in the origination and execution of transactions. The role will require execution expertise to be developed across all relevant global Debt Capital Markets;
work independently, and with other members of the team, in developing and managing a network of internal and external derivatives providers to facilitate the execution of cross-currency basis and other issuance related hedging;
develop relationships with peers and DCM colleagues both within UBS' Australian and offshore offices to develop market awareness and build a network;
apply research, business analysis and financial modelling skills, as well as your market knowledge in
identification of opportunities;
keep abreast of developments in the global markets; and
working knowledge of investment banking products more broadly
