The Role As Grade 5 Team Member you will undertake basic labouring tasks and civil construction work to specified standards as directed by your supervisor and in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety practices and procedures. Working in a team environment your range of duties may include, road, bikeway and footpath construction and/or repairs, basic labouring tasks (topsoil, manual handling, using minor plant e.g. compaction, paving), assisting in the construction of storm water gullies, manhole inlets and outlets and laying of storm water pipes. To succeed in this role you will have: demonstrated civil construction experience the ability to assist in setting up site housekeeping and prepare for daily activities to minimise delays and maximise efficiency customer focused behaviour by delivering the highest standards of service to our customers a basic understanding of business performance requirements of quality, cost and timeliness and be able to undertake individual responsibilities within the work team a basic ability to lead and coordinate team activities when required. Note: a current White / Construction Card is required for this role. A C class drivers' licence is also desirable.
