The Opportunity

Due to ongoing business growth and project wins, our Melbourne team is seeking a Document Controller to join them. You'll support Project Managers and Engineers with document management, project setup, processes and delivery - helping teams stay organised, compliant and auditready across the project lifecycle.

What you'll do
You'll play a key role in keeping project information flowing by:

  • Following established document control processes and procedures.
  • Recording, transmitting and tracking incoming/outgoing documentation, plus supporting reporting.
  • Ensuring outgoing design documentation is issued correctly across multiple EDMS platforms.
  • Maintaining project registers and supporting document preparation and verification against internal/external guidelines.
  • Using document systems such as TeamBinder, Aconex, SharePoint and ProjectWise (and others as needed).
  • Providing practical, handson support to help the team achieve delivery outcomes.

What we'll love about you

  • Demonstrated experience as a Document Controller in an engineering consultancy and/or major project environment.
  • 5+ years' relevant document control experience and confidence with document management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • A highly organised approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise in a fastpaced project office.
  • A selfstarter mindset, able to work with minimal supervision and contribute proactively to a team environment.
  • A clear commitment to safety and the right to work in Australia.
