We are seeking an Allied Health Assistant to join our team within the Acute Neurological Ward at Nepean Hospital.
Working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 12:30pm, this non-rotational role will involve the successful candidate being supervised by a Physiotherapist responsible for developing programs and assigning workloads. Acute hospital experience and manual handling experience of acutely unwell patient is key to succeed in this role.

What you will bring to the role
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or relevant equivalent qualification or willingness to complete the required skills and competencies for the role.
- Demonstrated patient manual handling skills, knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to independently undertake tasks once delegated and operate with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities as delegated.
- Demonstrate computer literacy.
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
