Eurobodalla Regional Hospital is opening March 2027
Where you'll be working
The Eurobodalla Regional Hospital (ERH) is a new, purposebuilt greenfield hospital that will bring together services currently provided at Batemans Bay and Moruya hospitals into a single, modern facility. Designed to meet the growing and changing health needs of the Eurobodalla community, ERH will be larger than the two existing hospitals combined and capable of expanding over time.
ERH represents a major investment in highquality regional healthcare, improving access to acute and complex care closer to home, strengthening workforce attraction and retention, and supporting better health outcomes for communities across the Eurobodalla Shire. The building is expected to be ready by the end of 2026.
As a Level 4 hospital, ERH will deliver a significantly enhanced range of services, including a 24hour emergency department, an intensive care and close observation unit, expanded surgical capacity, contemporary maternity and paediatric services, mental health short stay beds and advanced medical imaging including MRI. Care will be delivered by a multidisciplinary workforce comprising specialists and rural generalists, supported by modern facilities that promote safe care, clinical training, and education.
