The Role
We are seeking a motivated Research & Analytics Analyst to support our product, adviser and market research functions. In this role, you'll play a key part in informing both existing and emerging product development through insightful, data-driven analysis.
What you'll do
Support product and adviser research across Acenda portfolios, including on-sale, off-sale, legacy and group products, to generate meaningful business insights
Analyse the Australian insurance market, including competitor products, features, pricing and service offerings, using both qualitative and quantitative research methods
Deliver actionable insights to support competitive, sustainable product development and new business pricing strategies
Monitor market trends and competitor activity, identifying implications and opportunities for the business
Develop clear and compelling internal and external presentations that showcase Acenda's product positioning
Conduct detailed analysis and impact assessments for proposed product enhancements and innovations
Contribute to submissions, including retail approved product lists, tenders and industry awards
Produce regular and ad hoc reporting on Acenda's competitive position and portfolio performance
About you
At least 2 years' experience within the insurance industry
Minimum 2 years' experience in a research or data-focused role
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Actuarial Science or a related discipline
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
