About the role

We are looking for aTalent Acquisition Partnertoplay ameaningfulrole in ensuring Rio Tinto has the right people in the right roles at the right time,while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring leader experience.

Partnering closely with leadersand HRbusiness partnersacrossthePeople (HR)function, you will provide endtoend recruitment delivery, building credibility through strategic talent advisoryfor professional roles. This role blends handson hiring with proactive sourcing, market insight development andcoaching, contributing to both immediate hiring outcomes and longerterm workforce planning.

Reporting to theTalent Acquisition Team Leadwithin the global Talent Acquisition team,you will be:

  • Deliveringendtoend recruitment, owning the candidate experience from initial engagement through to offer acceptance

  • Partneringwith leaders to conductahiring needs analysis, understanding capability gaps and market context

  • Managingrecruitment processes to achieve quality hiring outcomes within agreed timeframes

  • Screening, assessingand shortlistingcandidates aligned to role requirements and business needs

  • Providingtalent advisory through market insights, talent availability and salary guidance

  • Proactively sourcing, engagingand buildingtalent pipelines for critical and recurring roles

  • Managingrecruitment agencies where required, including briefing, performance and cost control

  • Coachinghiring leadersoneffective hiring and selection practices,maintainingaccurate hiring data, and contributingto workforce planning andTAprojects &initiatives

  • Contributing to how we showcase Rio Tinto'semployer brand

While this role is part of Rio Tinto's global Talent Acquisition team, the recruitment focus will be predominantly Asia-Pacific based. You will also support selected recruitment activity across Rio Tinto's global hubs, partnering with leaders and TA colleagues internationally.

About you

You are a proactive and commercially minded TA professional who enjoys partnering with leaders and delivering highquality outcomes. You bring a balance of operational recruitment expertise and trusted advisory capability including:

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

  • Proven experience delivering endtoend recruitment across professional or corporate portfolios

  • Strong ability to partner with leaders, translating hiring needs into effective recruitment strategies

  • Experience in proactive sourcing, pipelining and market mapping

  • Confidence providing market insight, salary guidance and talent advice

  • A strong focus on candidate experience and inclusive hiring practices

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Comfort working with recruitment data, systems and reporting

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering within agreed timeframes

  • A collaborative, solutionsfocused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
