Responsibilities
Hybrid & Benchtop NMI systems (i.e. PET/CT, SPECT/CT, PET/SPECT/CT, and PET/MR) represent a key market segment in Bruker's Preclinical Imaging (PCI) business. PMOD Technologies has been developing advanced software solutions for the analysis and quantification of biomedical imaging data since 2003, with a strong focus on PET, SPECT, MRI, and CT. Today, scientists at more than 700 sites worldwide rely on PMOD software for molecular imaging research, contributing to over 500 scientific publications each year. Since 2019, PMOD Technologies has been part of the Bruker PCI division, which delivers highend solutions for preclinical imaging.
Based within the NMI business group, the NMI Application Scientist role requires a strong scientific background and demonstrated handson experience in nuclear molecular imaging and related data analysis. The position supports the growing APAC customer base and covers hybrid and benchtop NMI systems as well as PMOD software solutions across the AsiaPacific region.
The NMI Application Scientist will provide pre- and post-sales applications training and support for NMI and PMOD software. Key responsibilities include:
- Customer training (with a focus on APAC)
- Customer education (in-house, webinars, tutorials, videos)
- After-sales support (e.g. customer hotline, customer visits)
- Marketing support (marketing materials, lectures, and data preparation)
- Working with small rodents and radioactive tracers
- Validation of products and application workflows
- Creation of protocols and optimizing workflows
- Creation of user documentation and training material
- Provide feedback from market/customer on product features and application trends
- Coordination of collaboration projects
- Sales support (customer visits, talks)
Customer demonstration of imaging hardware and software products
Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Molecular Imaging, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with PET, SPECT, and CT, including direct involvement in imaging and image analysis within a research, industry, or commercial (preclinical and/or clinical) environment
- Practical experience using molecular imaging analysis software tools
- Proven experience with animal handling and working with radioactive tracers, in compliance with local regulations and safety standards
- Fluency in spoken and written English, with excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation, and computer skills, proficiency in one or more additional APAC local languages (e.g. Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) is a strong advantage but not a must.
