Experience/Skills Sought:

As the successful candidate you will possess the following:

Experience in Naval Architecture and Ship classification society or ship classification organisations

Understand all required engineering disciplines and practice, provide technical authority and design acceptance, implement and ensure compliance with technical regulations, legislation, policy, procedure and practice

Accountable for exercising assigned engineering authorities (inclusive of Design Acceptance Authority Representative) and any Technical Regulatory Authority delegations

Essential Qualification/Experience/Work Environment:

Bachelor of Engineering Naval Architecture

Chartered Professional Engineer (Engineers Australia), Registered Professional Engineer (Professionals Australia) or Fellow/Member of Royal Institution of Naval Architects

NV1 Level security clearance

Desirable Qualification/ Skills/ Experience:

The candidate may be required to work on RAN vessels with experience in Naval Architecture and Ship Classification experience."
