Essential Experience

• 5+ years working in an operational role supporting complex ICT systems and services.

• Good understanding of Network Management Systems and related operational monitoring approaches.

• Experience mentoring and influencing team members and providing thought leadership within an engineering team.

• Experience working with incident management in an ICT context.

• Working knowledge of software engineering in an Infrastructure as Code context including version control, automation, IaaS, CI/CD and configuration management.

• Exposure to DevOps tooling such as GitLab, Artifactory, Ansible and Terraform.

• Awareness of Agile, Scrum and Kanban concepts.

• Demonstrated ability to identify technology gaps in current capabilities and processes.

Desirable Qualities

• 5+ years of combined experience in application management, development, and DevSecOps.

• Exposure to VMware and ESXi.

• Experience working in Linux, Windows and Kubernetes environments.

• Security-first mindset.

• Proven ability to work independently, and within a multi-discipline team.

• Demonstrable experience proving a customer focus and passion for delivery.

• Excellent communications and client facing skills.

• Good knowledge of cloud-based providers, preferably AWS.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
