Australian Citizens With NV1 Clearance previous defence experience preferred

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 8 years experience working in Defence ICT and/or network-centric projects as a Technical Writer;
• Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio skills to enable the design, development, implementation, management and protection of documentation;

Proven technical ability with exceptional writing skills to create and maintain complex technical documentation inclusive of design knowledge base articles, system specifications, application programming interface details, standard operating procedures and other technical content involving intricate system details;

• Demonstrated ability to acquire and maintain deep subject matter expertise in the technologies, systems and products being documented, including

understanding technical concepts and effectively translating them for non- technical audiences in accordance with Defence Writing Standards;

• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of presentation and engagement with stakeholders, projects, organisational reporting and business areas.
