The LAND 200-3 Commercial Officer requires a highly organised and motivated individual who works effectively in a complex environment, can think critically, has excellent problem-solving skills and can manage competing priorities.
This role requires demonstrated experience in:
The application of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, commercial principles and performance management frameworks related to procurement and contracting within Defence or the Commonwealth.
Working within a commercial team in a complex environment to deliver outcomes on time and to a high level of quality
Supporting complex procurement activities including development of solicitation documentation (statements of work and statements of requirement) and the review and evaluation of responses to market approaches.
Developing contracting correspondence including complex, commercially sensitive reports, submissions, contract change proposals and other documents as required.
Experience working in complex and challenging environments.
Experience working in a complex stakeholder system.
Proven commercial and business acumen with an ability to build appropriate and effective business relationships.
Highly effective communication, both formally and informally, including advanced technical writing skills.
Initiative in keeping personal skills up to date, maintaining awareness of industry developments and pursuing continuous improvement opportunities.
Ability to analyse, design, plan, execute, and evaluate work to time, cost and quality targets while assessing and evaluating risk.
