What you will do?

• Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
• Conduct temperature and quality checks, effectively managing cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards
• Support kitchen team members in establishing and sustaining an organised and efficient workspace
• Take on cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, waste disposal and management, operating a commercial dishwasher and handling cleaning chemicals
• Execute food preparation tasks within a commercial kitchen environment, showcasing excellent food presentation skills

More about you

• Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to a work a variety of shifts over a 7 day a week roster including morning, days, and nights
• Previous experience as a kitchenhand is preferred
• Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain

• Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
• Most shifts will be between 8am - 6pm, however there will be times where a 5am start will be required
