Position Overview

We're seeking a Learning Delivery Lead to join our team onsite in the Bowen Basin, delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences that support safe, compliant, and high-performing operations.

As the Learning Delivery Lead, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of learning programs, supporting workforce capability across operational teams. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where you'll facilitate training across leadership, onboarding, and values-based programs, while also coordinating apprenticeship programs and maintaining learning systems.

You'll work closely with site leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure learning is practical, engaging, and aligned to operational priorities.

This role is on a 9 days on, 5 days off Roster based in Coppabella or Dysart villages, with extensive travel throughout the Bowen Basin, and to WA sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the apprenticeship program, working with RTOs, grants partners and stakeholders
  • Facilitate onboarding, leadership and capability programs for frontline teams
  • Deliver engaging face-to-face and virtual learning programs across sites
  • Track apprentice progress, attendance, and milestones
  • Manage and maintain Learning Management System (LMS) records and compliance
  • Coordinate training schedules, resources, and stakeholder communication
  • Ensure accurate documentation for compliance, audit, and reporting requirements
  • Continuously improve training content and delivery methods using feedback and best practice

Skills and experience:

  • Strong facilitation and public speaking confidence
  • Experience delivering training, onboarding, or employee engagement programs
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt delivery style across diverse operational audiences
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with LMS platforms (Oracle and/or Articulate highly regarded)
  • Ability to manage group dynamics and foster inclusive learning environments

Qualifications

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Training & Assessment
  • Experience working with apprenticeships or structured training programs (highly advantageous)
  • Experience in hospitality, villages, or site-based environments (desirable)
