Associate Technical Director
The role is working within our studio Ludios:
Ludios - from Ludus (Latin for "play" or "game") and -ios ("the people of") - means The Game People.
We're an independent game studio backed by the Tripledot Group, led by Eyal, one of Tripledot's original founders. At Ludios, we bring together the spirit of a new studio with the legacy and expertise of a global mobile games powerhouse.
We develop our own original titles, including Hexago and Marble Match, and we're currently working on exciting new projects - including games built in collaboration with well-known IPs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the technical architecture and roadmap of the game.
- Lead engineering efforts across gameplay systems, networking, backend, and tools.
- Oversee backend and server orchestration (matchmaking, scaling, cloud/hybrid infra).
- Drive performance optimization across a wide range of mobile devices.
- Ensure smooth Unity-native code integration and effective OS-level interfacing.
- Setup CI/CD pipelines & engineering best practices, maintain technical excellence.
- Mentor and guide engineers, providing leadership on complex problem-solving.
- Collaborate closely with design, art, and production to deliver a polished competitive experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- 10+ years of professional experience in game development, with at least 2 shipped multiplayer titles (PC, console, or mobile).
- Strong experience in Unity/Unreal with deep understanding of engine loops
- Proven ability to work with native code (C++, Java, Objective-C/Swift) and interface with OS-level systems.
- Deep knowledge of networking, backend systems, matchmaking, and server orchestration.
- Track record of optimizing games for mobile hardware (low to high spec).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
