As a Demand Planner with DHL, you will oversee a portfolio of 12-15 ports both domestically, and internationally to ensure delivery to customer requirements. A self-starter and problem solver with a can do attitude, you will train 3rd party partners in effective system utilisation.

In this job you will:

  • Manage suppliers against agreed KPI's including orderedversus received and on time delivery
  • Carry out demand planning, forecasting and procurement of imported and local finished goods
  • Proactively service customer issues via telephone and email
  • Ensure compliance to statutory obligations
  • Drive process improvement

You have the following qualities & qualifications:

  • 2-3 years demand planning or purchasing/procurement experience
  • Supplier or Order Management experience preferred
  • Experience with Customs and Australian border force preferred
  • Experience in ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP preferred
  • Superior communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
