As a Demand Planner with DHL, you will oversee a portfolio of 12-15 ports both domestically, and internationally to ensure delivery to customer requirements. A self-starter and problem solver with a can do attitude, you will train 3rd party partners in effective system utilisation.
In this job you will:
- Manage suppliers against agreed KPI's including orderedversus received and on time delivery
- Carry out demand planning, forecasting and procurement of imported and local finished goods
- Proactively service customer issues via telephone and email
- Ensure compliance to statutory obligations
- Drive process improvement
You have the following qualities & qualifications:
- 2-3 years demand planning or purchasing/procurement experience
- Supplier or Order Management experience preferred
- Experience with Customs and Australian border force preferred
- Experience in ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP preferred
- Superior communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
