The Windows Infrastructure Engineer will play a crucial role in managing and supporting critical Windows-based systems and services, including Active Directory, Windows Server, and virtualization platforms. This role is integral to maintaining the stability and security of our global infrastructure, contributing to both day-to-day operations and strategic platform improvements. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Windows administration, Active Directory, and group policy management, with experience in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Strong experience in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and large virtual environments.
  • Proven track record in supporting production platforms at scale and delivering change in controlled environments.
  • Experience with hybrid identity management (AD + Entra ID/Azure AD) and M365 administration, especially mail routing issues.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and a demonstrated embracement of AI for problem-solving.
  • Exposure to infrastructure automation tools like Ansible and Terraform is desirable.
  • 3-6 years of experience in infrastructure/systems engineering roles, preferably in enterprise or regulated environments (financial services experience is an asset).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
  • Attention to detail, critical for compliance and audit requirements.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to identifying risks, improvements, and contributing to automation and operational efficiency.
  • Manage and support Windows Server (2016-2025+), Active Directory, core infrastructure services, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix).
  • Monitor platform health, capacity, and performance, ensuring high availability and operational stability.
  • Resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLAs and OLAs.
  • Support AD replication health, group policy management, and authentication issues.
  • Assist in privileged group governance, auditing, and security configuration.
  • Contribute to hardening and compliance initiatives, including LDAPS, auditing, and baseline policies.
  • Execute infrastructure changes, support patch management, and OS upgrades, providing clear impact assessments.
  • Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Ansible) to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
  • Maintain technical runbooks, SOPs, and platform documentation, contributing to knowledge sharing across global teams.
