Job Description

This role is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract.

TAL works closely with a range of third-party partners to deliver its services, creating both valuable opportunities and inherent risks. With the introduction of APRA Prudential Standard CPS 230, there is an increased focus on ensuring operational resilience and effectively managing risks associated with third-party arrangements. As a Procurement Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting TAL's compliance with these evolving regulatory requirements, helping to strengthen risk management practices across the business.

In this hands-on role, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of procurement and risk data across systems, while documenting and enhancing existing processes, policies, and frameworks. You will support the implementation and embedment of the Procurement Standard, contributing to the identification, assessment, mitigation, and ongoing monitoring of third-party risks. This is an excellent opportunity to partner closely with the business and play a critical role in driving compliance and uplifting third-party risk management capabilities across TAL.

In this role you will:

  • Ensure and maintain data accuracy across various data sources
  • Create and update existing process guides to reflect current requirements
  • Provide support to ensure risk management activities related to Third Parties are conducted in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures and is reflected downstream in the relevant business profile's risks and controls
  • Collaborate with various business units to implement and embed the specific requirements of the Procurement Standard and the Third Party Risk Management Policy.
  • Support the oversight of the various process controls to ensure TAL is in compliance with its policies and regulatory obligations
  • Work closely and maintain effective communication with a wide range of internal stakeholders including Line 1, Procurement, Technology and Legal teams.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of education and awareness programs to deliver change effectively across TAL

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Procurement preferably in the Insurance industry.
  • Exposure to Third Party Risk management is ideal.
  • Experience working across multiple business units in a large and complex organisation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent relationship development, management and negotiation skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
