About the role
We are looking for a High Voltage (HV) Electrical Maintainer to join our team and support the safe, reliable and efficient maintenance of electrical and high voltage assets across site.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the application of effective whole-of-life asset management practices, supporting the safe and efficient operation of critical site infrastructure.
The role is offered on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, with the option for residential living in Pannawonica, which is preferred for this position. This is a day shift only role (6am-6pm), with participation in an on-call roster.
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor and working in a collaborative and safety-focused team within Utilities Maintenance, you will be:
- Conducting inspections, scheduled and breakdown maintenance, as well as supporting project upgrades across site assets
- Supporting the maintenance and operation of electrical and HV systems to ensure reliability and performance
- Troubleshooting faults and restoring equipment to minimise downtime
- Working across transmission and distribution infrastructure, including key utilities assets
- Contributing to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining compliance with site standards and safe work practices
You will be working across a range of utilities assets, including:
- Electrical transmission and distribution systems up to 132kV
- Transformers and specialty electrical apparatus
- Power quality and supply for the Pannawonica Township
- Fuel delivery and hydrocarbon infrastructure
- Compressed air systems
- Water and wastewater management systems
- Providing electrical support to mechanical and hydrocarbons team
About you
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Strong understanding of RTIO safety systems with demonstrated commitment to health and safety
- WA A Grade Electrical Licence (mandatory)
- Current Manual driver's licence (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience in electrical and industrial maintenance, ideally within a similar environment
- Experience with PLCs and SCADA systems
Desirable
- HR Class Drivers Licence
- HV switching qualification
- Cert III in Water Operations
- Cert IV in Instrumentation
- High Risk Work Licence - LF, CV, DG, WP
