Overview
The Sourcing Manager is an individual contributor responsible for leading strategic sourcing activities across APAC and owning sourcing strategy for selected global categories and contracts. The role ensures that global procurement policies and governance standards are consistently applied in the region while partnering closely with business stakeholders to drive commercial value, operational efficiency, and supplier performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional sourcing strategy for APAC across assigned categories
- Own sourcing strategy for selected global contracts and support global category initiatives
- Conduct market research, supplier evaluations, and competitive bidding (RFI/RFP)
- Develop sourcing recommendations that optimize cost, quality, service, and risk
- Negotiate pricing, SLAs, commercial terms, and contract structures
- Ensure APAC sourcing activities comply with global procurement policies, internal controls, and risk frameworks
- Drive adoption of standardized procurement processes across the region
- Maintain documentation for audit readiness, compliance reporting, and contract governance
- Collaborate with APAC business units to understand outsourcing and purchasing needs
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and spend visibility initiatives
- Build strong relationships with Finance, Legal, IT, and operational teams
- Manage contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and performance reviews
- Maintain a centralized contract inventory and ensure timely renewals
- Utilize ProcuretoPay systems (Dynamics 365 preferred) and contract management tools (Tropic preferred)
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and automation
- Support development of procurement templates, playbooks, and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of sourcing or procurement experience, ideally in B2B or professional services
- Experience managing regional sourcing or global contracts preferred
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholdermanagement skills
- Experience with P2P systems and contract management platforms (Dynamics 365 and Tropic preferred)
- Familiarity with GDPR requirements and dataprotection considerations in supplier contracting
- Advanced Excel skills, including, VLOOKUP, PivotTables, building procurement trackers, renewal calendars, and spend dashboards.
Education:
- Bachelor's or better preferred
