At Coronado Global Resources, our Curragh complex is a large-scale open-cut mining operation supported by major mobile and fixed mining equipment, including draglines, electric shovels, haul trucks, conveyors, crushers, pumps and support infrastructure that keep the operation running safely and efficiently. What you'll do
We have a permanent opportunity for an Electrical Tradesperson to join our Field Maintenance team at Curragh Mine in Blackwater.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for day-to-day field maintenance, breakdown response, fault finding, and planned maintenance activities across mobile and fixed plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. This role follows a lifestyle roster.
In this role you'll be:
- Fault finding and troubleshooting electrical issues across mobile and fixed plant equipment
- Responding to breakdowns and restoring equipment safely and efficiently
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and planned shutdown activities
- Working safely in line with site procedures, standards and isolation practices
- Identifying recurring faults and contributing to improved equipment reliability
What you'll bring
- Experience in field maintenance within mining, heavy industry or similar environments
- Electrical trade qualification
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Experience with HV switching and fault finding (desirable)
- Exposure to mobile plant and fixed plant electrical systems
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills under pressure
- A strong safety focus and team-oriented mindset
