We're looking for a passionate and commercially minded Design & Delivery Manager to lead the design development, refurbishment and venue refresh programs across our growing national network. This is a unique opportunity for a design professional who loves seeing ideas come to life. You'll be responsible for ensuring every Burger Urge venue delivers an exceptional customer experience while meeting our brand standards, operational requirements and commercial objectives. Working cross functionally you'll help shape the future of the Burger Urge brand across Australia. About the Role Reporting to the Head of Development, you will oversee the design lifecycle from concept through to delivery, supporting new venue openings, refurbishments and network-wide refresh projects. Your responsibilities will include: New Venue Development Lead design development for new Burger Urge venues. Coordinate architects, designers and specialist consultants. Manage landlord and statutory approval processes. Review construction documentation and fitout submissions. Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking and value engineering reviews. Support project delivery through site inspections and fitout reviews. Refurbishments & Venue Refreshes Assess existing venues and develop refurbishment scopes. Manage design, approvals and project delivery. Coordinate contractors, consultants and suppliers. Monitor project timelines, budgets and quality outcomes. Ensure projects align with current brand standards. Design & Brand Standards Maintain and evolve Burger Urge design standards and fitout guidelines. Develop design briefs, layouts, finishes and customer experience elements. Partner with Marketing and Operations to ensure consistency across the network. Identify opportunities to improve customer experience through innovative design solutions. Commercial & Project Management Prepare project budgets and cost estimates. Review tender submissions and contractor pricing. Support capital expenditure planning and approval processes. Drive value engineering initiatives without compromising brand integrity. Provide project reporting and performance analysis. About You You are creative, commercially aware and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two projects are the same. You'll bring: Qualifications in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline. 5+ years' experience in retail, hospitality, franchise or commercial design and project delivery. Experience managing fitout, refurbishment or development projects. Strong understanding of hospitality and retail design principles. Experience working with consultants, contractors and suppliers. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong commercial acumen and project management capability. A passion for creating engaging customer environments. Why Burger Urge?
